Two hundred neo-Nazis in Chile gave the Nazi salute and shouted, “Heil Hitler” as one of their leaders was buried in Santiago on Tuesday. Mauricio Egana was stabbed to death in ongoing violence between neo-Nazis and anti-fascist youths. Egana led a group called the Southerners, whose activities include defacing city buildings with swastikas, publishing anti-Semitic material and going on violent rampages against poor and indigenous people, among others. On Sunday, they attacked a group of young people, and Egana was stabbed to death in the ensuing brawl.
