A first division soccer match between ADO The Hague and PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands was stopped on Saturday after the referee was targeted with offensive anti-Semitic chants. Rene Timmink suspended play with 10 minutes to go after some ADO The Hague fans started hurling racist insults at him. According to news agency reports, the Dutch football federation will investigate the incident to determine a punishment for the home club. It was not the first problem of this kind at ADO The Hague's ground: in a match against Ajax Amsterdam in September, Dutch international player Rafael Van der Vaart was the subject of verbal abuse.
