Bio
Tamara was born and raised in Ottawa and has been actively engaged as a lay leader in the community locally, nationally and internationally for several years. She has studied and worked in Europe, Latin America, and the United States of America. She holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs and an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird, School of Global Management.
Tamara has sat on various local and national boards in Canada, holding a variety of leadership positions. She presently is a member of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation Board of Directors and sits on the Community Relations and Communications committee. She is also a member of the WJC JDCORPS Steering Committee.
Tamara currently works for Export Development Canada as the head of the Andean Region, Central America and the Caribbean. She is based in Bogotá, Colombia
