Irina Rosensaft is the Head of Digital Unit at the Central Welfare Board of Jews in Germany. She holds a master's degree in Political Sciences and Public Law from University in Mainz and a master’s degree in Organizational Development from the Technical University Kaiserslautern. In the past 15 years she has worked as an organizational development consultant and as project manager for non-profit organizations and for consulting firms. In her daily work Irina deals with the challenges posed by digitalization and digitality in Germany and advises Jewish communities on their digital journey, thus raising awareness for topics like data, cybersecurity and digital responsibility.

Born in the FSU (today’s Ukraine) and raised in Germany, Irina has undergone a classical Jewish activist career starting as a youth counsellor at the Central Welfare Board for Jews in Germany, she was later elected as a board member of the Federal Union of Jewish Students, where she led different initiatives fighting anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli ressentiments and organized projects for the Jewish community development. Today, she is a member of the World Jewish Congress Jewish Diplomatic Corps. Irina never stops to create initiatives and networks, always seeking ways to make the Jewish community in her country an attractive, pluralistic and secure place.
