The sixty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) is taking place from 6 to 17 March 2023 in a hybrid format with mostly virtual meetings.
Cognizant of current world developments affecting the status of women around the world, we believe in the essential role Faith-Based Organizations (FBO’s) can and must play in the fight against violations of women’s rights.
The WJC showcased efforts and impactful initiatives which already exist around the world and discussed ways in which FBO’s and others can successfully advocate for women’s rights, especially in situations where faith and religion are a central element of oppression, to contribute more actively to the goal of a peaceful and more equitable world.
