Dany Levin Prist is WJC European Affairs Manager, based in the Brussels Office. Dany monitors the developments within and liaises with the European Union institutions and NATO. He also provides policy advice on EU matters, while contributing to the development of WJC’s diplomatic network in Europe.
Prior to joining the WJC in 2022, Dany worked in the Directorate General for Justice and Consumers in the European Commission and at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union during the Portuguese presidency of the Council of the EU, having been giving policy advise in the field of equality, non-discrimination and social affairs.
He is an alumnus of the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS), where he worked as EU Affairs and Policy Officer. He was also Board Member of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) and one of the co-founders of the Jewish Youth of Portugal (JYP).
Dany graduated in Law from NOVA University Lisbon and completed his master’s degree in European Politics and International Relations at Maastricht University
