World Jewish Congress-Israel seeks to preserve and enhance ties between the Jewish communities in the Diaspora and Israel. Its leadership comprises representatives of all self-professed Zionist parties based on the number of seats they have in Knesset. WJC-Israel works together with the Israeli government, NGOs and Jewish organizations worldwide to fight the delegitimization of Israel in the legal realm and other forms of antisemitism as well as in the media and diplomatic arena. It also works to heighten consciousness in Israel of international Jewish concerns and through a variety of programs act as a bridge between Jews in Israel and their brethren in other parts of the world, especially among young people. It also aspires to promote interfaith dialogue, in both Israel and abroad on the shared principles of justice, peace and liberty.
