Ramiz Bakhtiar, co-founder of Peace in Our Schools, recently visited Bosnia to hold workshops focusing on peace-building, conflict resolution, and other issues to foster tolerance and understanding.
Founders of the NextGenInc. project, Ramiz Bakhtiar and Lika Torikashvili, brings these workshops to students around the world, using their upbringings in war-torn Afghanistan and Georgia, respectively, to inspire young adults to learn and advocate for peace.
One high school student at the Bosnia session remarked, "It showed me that we can always do something for ourselves and our environment and thus help our country. I gained great knowledge about peace-building and how we can choose how to react and in which way to solve our problem or conflict."
