Emma Hallali, from Paris, France, is the President of the European Union of Jewish students. She holds a Master’s degree in European Law and International economic relations from the University Paris XII and another Master’s degree in European Law, Law and Technology in Europe that she pursued in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Emma was previously involved in the French Union of Jewish students (UEJF) as President of her local chapter and National Delegate in charge of international relations and events. Emma is a also an elected member of the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe. She is also a trainer in the ADL Words to Action program and a co-founder of the Ahlan Europe initiative, a collective created to promote more visibility and inclusivity for MENA Jewish students in Europe.
