Lauder Fellow Noah Rubin and JD Corps Member Hannah Schlacter Speak at Bipartisan Roundtable on Antisemitism at American Universities

Lauder Fellow Noah Rubin and JD Corps member Hannah Schlacter spoke at the House Education and Workforce Committee's Bipartisan Roundtable on Antisemitism, following their personal encounters with antisemitism at the University of Pennsylvania and University of California, Berkeley. Nine students from American universities were invited to this roundtable as part of a larger investigation by the House Committee into antisemitism at American postsecondary institutions, holding these institutions accountable for the rampant antisemitism that has recently been witnessed on campuses across the country. Noah spoke about his own experience on campus, saying,

"You heard at the last hearing that context matters. Here's the context: it's open season on Jews on our campus and continued inaction is unacceptable. It's time to wake up America. This is the story of Jews on UPenn's campus and students across the country. We are living in a climate of hatred and fear. I urge you to help us."
