JDA Member Reflects on the War in Israel as a New Immigrant

Former Lauder Fellow and JDA member Sruli Fruchter reflects on his time in Israel as a new immigrant to Israel in his latest op-ed in the Forward. In Sruli's latest op-ed, he writes about navigating the war in Israel as someone who has never served in the army, but wants to support Israel. 

I moved to Israel not even two months ago. Now, I am sprawled on a table, among a cacophony of Israeli medics and blood donors, seeking to aid Israel’s war efforts after Hamas’ invasion and massacre. As a new immigrant, my blood is all I can offer my country.
