FEJJE Hosts Leadership Development Program Shabbaton

FEJJE (The Federation of Young Jews in Spain), a project in NextGenInc., hosted a group of up and coming union leaders for a leadership development program, which they are calling FEJJESHIP. This seminar was part of their 6-month FEJJESHIP program, which equips Jewish students with the tools and knowledge to become future leaders of FEJJE through a series of workshops and discussions. Lauder Fellow Yael Sanchez, the Vice President of Madrid for FEJJE, led this program as part of her workplan for the Lauder Fellowship.

The program addressed topics like antisemitism, antizionism, and Israel, all reelvant to future leadership roles within FEJJE. A dedicated space was created for open dialogue about Israel, fostering understanding of participants' feelings towards the Jewish state and exploring ways to share that message within and outside the community. Most importantly, the program fostered cohesion and trust among the group, creating a strong sense of camaraderie and a foundation for future collaboration within FEJJE.
