Prior to joining the WJC in 2013, Ornit served as Program Director at the Bergen County YJCC, and sat on the executive board of the Glen Rock Jewish Center. A native of Israel, Ornit taught Hebrew to adolescents and adults for more than a decade. She received a B.A. in Communications from Marist College and holds the rank of sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces.
