20% of UK Citizens Opposed to a Jewish Prime Minister

An opinion poll has found that 20% of UK citizens would be opposed to a Jewish prime minister, and that the same amount of people believe that Jews have too great an influence in the UK. The current leader of the opposition Conservative party, Michael Howard, who is Jewish, expects to lead the party into the next general election - likely to be held in 2005.
The poll also found that 14% of people think that the Holocaust was an exaggeration.
