Ahlan Europe, a project founded during the Lauder Fellowship by NextGen members Emma Hallali, Hanna Nir, and Guy Dabby-Joory, organized their first-ever conference in Thessaloniki, Greece, together with the European Union of Jewish Students, a partner of WJC, from May 9th to 12th, 2024. This four-day seminar addressed the underrepresentation and unique challenges faced by European Jewish students of Middle Eastern and North African heritage.
