On January 1, 2024, the World Union of Jewish Students elected its board at its annual WUJS Congress in Prague. The new board features three Lauder fellows: Joseph Zeleznikow, Sam Kramer, and Hannah Sarkin.
Start-Up Nation Mentorship wrapped up a successful Fall semester. They had a total of 21 campuses represented and matched 150 Fellows with Israeli mentors.
The European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS) has published an open letter titled "Our 2024 Resolutions from Jewish Students Around the World". The resolutions, from national and regional Unions from over 30 countries representing over 800,000 young Jews, focus on key issues such as combating antisemitism, promoting inclusivity, and advocating for a society free from hate.

Havurah, a project in NextGenInc., announced its first-ever Jewish Short Film Festival. The event will be at the Marlene Meyerson JCC in Manhattan on October 3rd. Tickets cost $5.
The Lauder Fellows had a virtual session with Dr. Robert Williams from the USC Shoah Foundation. He spoke to them about events leading up the Shoah and what the nature of antisemitism was at the time and how we can move forward and use the lessons to remember the Holocaust today.
At the XXIX Congress of the Italian Union of Jewish Students and Young Professionals (UGEI), a union affiliated with NextGen Inc., elections for the Board were held. The newly elected board includes two former Lauder Fellows: Ghila Lascar and Ariela Di Gioacchino.
The European Union of Jewish Students and the World Jewish Congress have a long history of friendship and a very unique and special relationship. We are glad to be matching EUJS's #SustainEUJS campaign.
