Lauder Fellow Sofiah Dabbah Gindi held an event last week with the organization that she cofounded, MAAPEJA, titled, "Aleinu: Jewish Women and Their Impact." This event served as a way to honor women in their community, highlight the importance of Jewish women throughout history, the fight against antisemitism alongside their work of educating others on sexual and gender-based violence. Adela Cojab was the featured guest speaker at this event.
