Micah Gritz, current JDA member, former Lauder Fellow, and Chief Operating Officer of Jewish on Campus, spoke to the Washington Post about a recent incident of antisemitism on his college campus. His campus chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine used paraglider emojis to advertise a rally in a nearby town and called Hamas terrorists, "liberation fighters."
The email "shocked me to my core," Gritz said. "Jewish students and Israeli students were mourning. To see these folks celebrating the death of our friends and families is beyond morally unacceptable."
