Sweden's Jewish Youth Association Awarded the 2023 ELSA Prize

The Swedish Committee Against Antisemitism (SKMA) awarded their 2023 ELSA Prize to the Jewish Youth Association of Sweden (JUS). This was awarded to them for their significant efforts to counter antisemitism and to enlighten Jewish life and identity in Sweden.
Based on a consistent anti-racist stance, JUS, via social media and in other ways, has persistently made visible, responded to and increased awareness of prejudice and hatred affecting Swedish Jews. And with the Instagram account "Proud Jew" and with the book of the same title, which was published in 2022, JUS, with a view above all to young people, has spread knowledge about the diversity and experiences of the Jewish minority.
