NextGen at WJC Executive Committee Meetings in Madrid

On March 21-23, a NextGen delegation attended the WJC Executive Committee meeting in Madrid to discuss how to foster Jewish life and safeguard the future for Jewish youth. NextGen members met with WJC President Ronald S. Lauder, WJC Treasurer Chella Safra, and other high-level leaders to address the current climate for young Jews as well as their future.

During the Executive Committee, NextGen members presented resolutions drafted during the second-annual Jewish Youth Assembly, which took place two weeks ago, and led discussions with Executive Committee members about the resolutions drafted. The voices of over 80 high school students from around the globe were brought to these meetings in an effort to take steps in addressing the issues concerning young Jews around the world.
