Peace in our Schools

Lika Torikashvili was featured in the recent issue of Hadassah Magazine for her work as a youth delegate to the United Nations. Torikashvili, with the support of the World Jewish Congress, attended an education forum to learn about teaching peace and implementing new educational initiatives. 

In line with the work she does as co-founder of Peace in Our Schools, Torikashvili talks about how her Judaism has encouraged her to help people get an education and come together in the wake of political turmoil and hardship. "By trying to solve the education crisis in Afghanistan, I am fulfilling my mission as a Jew."
