Jathlete, a project in NextGenInc., interviewed Beatie Deutsch, four-time National Marathon champion of Israel, a mother of five, and is also known as "The Marathon Mother." Beatie became involved in running in 2018 when she won the Jerusalem Marathon for women. Beatie calls her path untraditional, as she has no athletic background and started this activity later in life.
