Lauder Fellow Natacha Hubelé launched her podcast for her Fellowship project titled "Tree of Life." With half of her family hailing from Romania, Natacha is tracing back her family's "tree of life," preserving and honoring the traditions and customs that have been passed down through generations.
Ahlan Europe, a project founded during the Lauder Fellowship by NextGen members Emma Hallali, Hanna Nir, and Guy Dabby-Joory, organized their first-ever conference in Thessaloniki, Greece, together with the European Union of Jewish Students, a partner of WJC, from May 9th to 12th, 2024. This four-day seminar addressed the underrepresentation and unique challenges faced by European Jewish students of Middle Eastern and North African heritage.
