Lauder Fellowship Project Featured in Hadassah Magazine

Former Lauder Fellow Abel Hernàndez Eskenazi was featured in an article recently published by Hadassah Magazine. The article details an app he created tracing the 500-year history of the Jewish community of Cuba, where he grew up. Eskenazi developed the app as a Lauder Fellow during the 2021-2022 season and it continues to be a resource on Cuban-Jewish history.

"I believe I am very fortunate to belong to a community that has never allowed the flame of Judaism to be extinguished," Eskenazi said.
