Israel and Bahrain establish formal ties

Israel and Bahrain on 18 October agreed to establish formal diplomatic relations, making the Gulf country the fourth Arab state to normalize ties with Israel. Bahrain joined the UAE at a White House ceremony last month marking the “Abraham Accords,” to inaugurate a pair of U.S.-brokered diplomatic pacts with Israel.
