Máté is a Hungarian-born Jewish political science student at the University of Amsterdam. He has previous experience in advocacy and student leadership and is currently a fellow at Humanity in Action, an international human rights organization, and the student leader at Oy Vey Amsterdam. Máté is particularly interested in the polarization of Jews in the diaspora, as well as current issues concerning radicalization, antisemitism, historical-political memory, and social inequality. After graduating, he plans to work in public administration, focusing on Jewish diaspora affairs and pushing for effective policy reforms
