The Ronald S. Lauder Fellowship Program - World Jewish Congress

I  am 21 and am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Security Studies at Macquarie University, Sydney. I am the National Jewish Engagement Coordinator at the Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) for Australia and New Zealand for 2021. After graduating from the Emanuel School in 2017, I undertook a gap year in Israel, splitting my time between Israel By Choice (IBC), Ulpan at Haifa University, and then 4 months at Mechina Kol Ami (a pre-leadership training pathway for the IDF). I am an active member of my Masorti Kehillah in Sydney and run a thriving business tutoring Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. I am interested in student politics and am a member of the NSW Young Liberals. I am a strong supporter of Israel and am interested in exploring how, as student leaders, we can effectively combat anti-Semitism on campus. I am also keen to increase Jewish cohesiveness and involvement amongst students. I am excited to be part of the WJC Ronald S. Lauder Fellowship Program for 2021-2022 and look forward to getting started!
