Abel Hernández Eskenazi

Abel Hernández Eskenazi was born in Havana, Cuba, on November 24, 2000. He has First Degree Black Belt in Karate-Do. In July 2018 he finished his high school studies in Havana. He is currently a 3rd year Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering student at the Technological University of Havana “CUJAE”. He has studied English for four years. As a student he became a member of a research group on wireless sensors, authored two publications in scientific journals, and participated as a speaker in two international scientific events. In the Cuban Jewish Community, he is part of the religious services study group, the leadership group of the Youth Organization, and a member of the Israeli folk dance “rikudim” group called “Emuna”. He has attended the World Maccabiah Games in Israel, competing in Karate. He received a bronze medal in 2013, and gold and bronze medals in 2017. He was in the International BBYO Convention in 2017. He graduated in 2020 from the entrepreneurship course given by the “AMIA Joven” organization and is currently volunteering in the management of the database of patients with COVID-19 in his municipality of residence in Havana, Cuba.
