NextGen Committee Bio - World Jewish Congress

Julia Jassey is the Chief Executive Officer of Jewish on Campus, a youth-led organization combating campus antisemitism in North America and around the world. Her work has been recognized widely in the Jewish community and beyond, being featured on CNN, Forbes, and other international news outlets. She was awarded at the Anti-Defamation League’s Concert Against Hate for her leadership in the Jewish community, and she was considered one of Algermeiner Magazine’s “Top 100 People Positively Influencing Jewish Life” in 2021. She proudly serves as a member of the World Jewish Congress’ NextGen Advisory Board and the World Union of Jewish Students’ Governing Board, as well as a Brume and Allen Scholar for the American Sephardi Federation and host of Opendor Media’s “Nice Jewish Girls” Jewish-feminist podcast. She is currently a student at the University of Chicago, where she is earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Jewish Studies.
