NextGen Committee Bio - World Jewish Congress

Cami Tussie is currently a student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine as she pursues her DMD. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, moved to Miami when she was little, and studied Bioengineering and Political Science at Stanford University before now calling Boston home. Cami was the President of Stanford’s Israel Association and the Vice President of Stanford’s Jewish Student Group. She is now the President of the Jewish Organization for Harvard Medical and Dental School. While at Stanford, Cami was in the initial cohort of the Ronald S. Lauder Fellowship, where she helped organize and execute a trip to study Jewish life in Buenos Aires for other Stanford students. She also acted as a Jewish leader for 20 non-Jewish students traveling to Israel and the Palestinian territories to study the conflict first-hand. With WJC, she attended the 75th anniversary of the Auschwitz Liberation and the European Diplomacy Summit. She has been involved with Start Up Nation Mentorship (SUNM) for over 4 years, acting as the COO that expanded campus operations to 20+ schools and 6 continents; she now sits on the Board of SUNM as the organization continues to expand the mentorship of non-Jewish students by Israeli executives, having traveled to Israel to recruit and organize a Cocktail Evening for Israeli mentors. Cami sits on the Advisory Committee of WJC NextGen.
