World Jewish Congress President Ronald S. Lauder today condemned the act of terror that occurred in Israel late on Thursday.

Ronald S. Lauder"This barbaric attack represents the worst that humanity is capable of," said Lauder. ³On behalf of the World Jewish Congress and the 100 Jewish communities we represent, I condemn the attack. This crime was, in no uncertain terms, an act of terror."

Lauder extended his condolences to the Dawabsha family, adding: ³The Jewish people cannot allow for this sort of evil to exist and we should do everything in our power to make sure it does not happen again. We must bring the terrorists to justice."

Late Thursday night, arsonists set fire to two homes in the Palestinian West Bank village of Duma, near Nablus, killing an infant and injuring three others. The Hebrew words 'Revenge' and 'Long live the King Messiah' were reportedly found next to a Star of David spray-painted near the site of the arson.
