WJC international meeting of Special Envoys & Coordinators combating antisemitism joint meeting with World Jewish Congress Executive Committee

MUNICH – The World Jewish Congress and the Central Council of Jews in Germany invite members of the press to take part in a briefing with Dr. Josef Schuster, President of the Central Council of Jews in Germany & WJC Vice President, Julius Meinl, WJC Commissioner for Combating Antisemitism, Katharina von Schnurbein, European Commission Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism, and Elan Carr, US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism (t.b.c). The briefing will take place on Tuesday, 29 October, from 12:00-13:00 at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich. 

The briefing will take place at the conclusion of the second WJC International Meeting of Special Envoys & Coordinators Combating Antisemitism, following a roundtable discussion with members of the WJC Executive Committee, which is composed of the presidents of the largest Jewish communities internationally and leaders of other Jewish organizations. The gathering will bring together more than 30 senior officials from around the world tasked with monitoring antisemitism and securing the protection of Jewish communities to engage in dialogue with the leaders of world Jewry and deliberate best practices in light of the rising manifestations of antisemitic violence and sentiment.
