Shmerke Kaczerginski lost his wife Barbara - and wrote a song to express his sorrow. "Friling" is now part of a priceless trove of Yiddish tango songs written during the Holocaust. Barbara died in April 1943. In September that same year, the Vilna ghetto was liquidated. But her song remains. For Yom HaShoah, we remember.
