Radio France has presented more than 80 hours of testimony from Righteous Gentiles, the basis of a French radio program, to the Israeli Holocaust museum Yad Vashem. The interviews were collected over the past several years. The broadcasts entitled “The Path of the Righteous” were aired in seven-minute-long segments ten times a day between 9 and 23 May. More than 2,500 people in France have been named Righteous Among the Nations since Israel began bestowing the honor in 1963. The title honors non-Jews who helped to save the life of Jews during the Nazi Holocaust.
