Liviu Dragnea: "Romania should recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel"

The leader of Romania’s Social Democratic Party, Liviu Dragnea, has expressed support for US President Donald Trump’s stance regarding the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. 

Dragnea, who is the president of the Chamber of Deputies, said that he would like to see the Romanian Embassy in Israel be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, similar to the decision being taken by Trump regarding the US embassy.

Dragnea declared in a speech at the Romanian parliament that, “Romania should thoughtfully consider moving its embassy to Jerusalem.”
