A comical look at Germany's Jews, the film "Alles auf Zucker!" ("Go For Zucker!") has won the Lola awards for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Director at this year's German Film Festival in Berlin, the local equivalent of the Oscars. The film, directed by Dani Levi and initially intended for TV, outshone big production such as "Der Untergang" ("The Downfall") - depicting Hitler's final days in his Berlin bunker in 1945. "Zucker" won a total of six awards. Henry Hübchen surprisingly took a Lola as Best Actor for his role as a wily Jewish family man. Swiss actor Bruno Ganz had been favored to win the prize for his performance as Adolf Hitler in "The Downfall". The comedy will make its US debut on 21 July at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival.
