The estate of the grandson of famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud has won a Holocaust-era lawsuit against the Swiss banks. US District Judge Edward Korman ruled on Wednesday that the estate of Anton Walter Freud, who died last year at age of 83, would be awarded US$ 168,000 as part of a payout to 23 claimants. The payout is part of the US$ 1.25 billion settlement negotiated by the World Jewish Congress and other with the Swiss banks in 1998.
