One of Germany's leading banks is set to formally reveal the extent of its links with the Nazi regime. Dresdner Bank is to hold a symposium on the results of a recently completed eight year study on 17 February. The bank commissioned the report from a group of independent historians led by Klaus-Dietmar Henke. The study reportedly reveals the institution’s close connections with the Nazi terror apparatus, and its shared responsibility for the Holocaust.

The Bank had originally planned to hold the symposium in a Jewish museum in Berlin but, following complaints from German Jewish leaders, it will now be held at the bank's own foundation, the Eugen-Gutmann Society.
