The Canadian Jewish Congress (CJC) has welcomed a decision by the Regina police service to bring charges against a far-right extremist, Terry Tremaine, for the content of his website. "This website, which identified itself as the home of the National Socialist Party of Canada, contained the vilest statements directed against members of the Jewish community," said CJC co-president Reuven Bulka. "Jews are described in terms that might have been lifted directly from Nazi-era propaganda papers like ‘Der Stürmer’”, he said.

"Tremaine does not shy away from even the most perverse elements of Jewish conspiracy theory. Jews are condemned as responsible for virtually all the ills that have beset the world in the last 200 years, from the founding of communism to the terrorist attack against the United States on September 11, 2001," CJC co-president Sylvain Abitbol stated. "We commend the efforts of Richard Warman, who has worked so diligently over the past decade to bring Internet hate-mongers to justice, as well as the ongoing efforts of the Regina police service on this file," said Bulka and Abitbol.
