Sacha Baron Cohen, better known in his film role as the anti-Semitic reporter Borat from Kazakhstan, has announced that he is to marry his girlfriend, the Australian actress Isla Fisher, in an Orthodox Jewish wedding. Fisher has recently converted to Judaism. Baron Cohen told the magazine "Us weekly" that Fisher had "studied Hebrew and learned to cook traditional Jewish recipes." Sacha Baron Cohen has officially become Britain's highest paid star, according to the "Daily Mail" newspaper, following the box office success of his movie "Borat" around the world and the announcement of a new film. Meanwhile, posters showing comedian Borat in a skimpy posing pouch were scrapped in Israel on the grounds of decency, the newspaper "Haaretz" reported on Tuesday. Instead, the star will be shown wearing his trademark suit. In another development, two of the people of Glod, Romania, which stood in for Borat's Kazakh hometown, are suing the film's makers for US$ 30m for portraying them as rapists and criminals, and want to be edited out of all future screenings. Nicolae Todorache and Spiridom Ciorebea allege that they and their fellow villagers were misled into participating in what they thought was a documentary about their abject poverty.
