A subway station in the New York City district of Brooklyn has been defaced with anti-Semitic graffiti. The website Shmais.com reports that “Death to the Racist Jews”, "Hitler had the right idea re the Jews just not enough time to get it right!" and "Al Qaeda has the right idea how to deal with Bush & Company" were among other slogans scrawled on the Kingston Avenue station in Crown Heights, which is home to a large number of Orthodox Jews. The graffiti was first noticed Monday morning by a man, who a day later alerted New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). A spokeswoman of the MTA has apologized to the man for not spotting and removing the slogans earlier.
