The Steering Committee approved the following minutes:
At the meeting, the president of the World Jewish Congress, Edgar M. Bronfman, announced that he intends to step down from his position on June 10, 2007. The process for electing an acting president is described in a memorandum circulated to the WJC membership on May 11, 2007. The Steering Committee also decided to postpone the Conference on International Security, scheduled to take place in Brussels, Belgium, from 10-12 June 2007.
