Issues

In our role as the global ambassador and advocate for Jewish people,
the WJC champions a range of issues and program areas where our energies
are most keenly focused.
These include public activism and diplomatic pressure to ensure full and fair restitution for Jewish losses suffered during the Holocaust.
Our relentless campaign to challenge, combat and eradicate Anti-Semitism in all its forms and expressions consumes a justifiably significant amount of our attention and resources.
With our recently launched Holocaust Memoirs initiative we are collecting, editing and publishing a major memoir of a survivor each year in bound book form as well as in a central digital repository.
And our work in promoting interfaith dialog and bridges has historically been a central focus of the organization.
Sadly, a growing share of our institutional energies are now focused on implementing programs and strategies that will aid and support Jews and all world citizens in the ongoing battle against the terror sown by radical Islamic fundamentalism.
Finally, our leading role in representing world Jewry affords us with the important responsibility of working within a great cross-section of international bodies and organizations.
