Has this poor excuse for a human being, a Bishop of the Church, no less, not seen the photographs that general Eisenhower made public, showing the attrocities of the Gas Chambers? Throughout the centuries Catholicism has been responsible for the death of millions of Jews and others.Consider the Spanish Inquisition!! History records Roman Catholic Priests condoning even being responsible, during WW2 in(Hungary for example) assisting even. It is disgusting to read of Williamson being allowed to retain the authority of BISHOP of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. Both my parents' family were murdered in the concentration camps. Some were gassed and others were killed. My parents met after the war and made their life in Australia where they were friends with many other survivors. Pope and leader should make a public outcry against this idiot. As a grandson to a woman who survived the holocaust, and to a grandfather who did not survive but died in the camps, I must say that hearing a putative "religious authority" hug and promote the vilest of all atrocities, without as much as a condemnation from you, his holy father and see, disgusts me. You, as a German, should have been the first to cry foul, to throw this beast from your church, if you want your father in heaven to ever forgive you. As long as he's a priest, the shame is on you, not on him. He cannot be sanctioned because people like this are not responsible for their actions. My whole family were killed by the Nazis at Auschwitz in 1942 and i have had to live that for all these years . i am now 84 years old and was sent out of Germany in May 1939 when i was 12 years old The Pope of all people should know what it was like living under that monster and i am sure in his heart of hearts he knows what went on .
