The leaders of Quebec's Jewish community have said that the Quebec government needs to act to stop the rise of anti-Semitism. The Quebec president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Jeff Boro, said "We are Quebecers. We share Quebec values and, therefore, we should all be moving forward together, and we will". He speaking as part a delegation that met with Premier Jean Charest, cabinet ministers and opposition party leaders at the National Assembly. He also asked the education minister to consider adding the Jewish Holocaust to the curriculum in history classes.
