Dear Friends,
As we approach the festival of Sukkot, I want to wish you and your families Chag Sameach, a joyous and happy holiday.
I hope that Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur were meaningful and inspirational for all of you, a time of renewal, reflection and introspection.
I also want to thank you for being part of our extended WJC family. I hope that our newsletter will continue to bring you valuable information about the Jewish world and the numerous challenges that confront us.
We value your involvement and your commitment.
The great sage Rabbi Akiva said that Sukkot symbolizes the Clouds of Glory that hovered over the Israelites as they went from bondage in Egypt to redemption in the land of Israel.
May a Sukkat Shalom, a true tabernacle of peace, shelter you, your families and the entire Jewish people this Sukkot and throughout the coming year.
