The Jewish community of Almaty, in Kazakhstan, welcomed 120 people from 28 families of seven different cities in the country at the annual summer camp, which is traditionally held in early August at a lake.
The camp seminar is a project of the Jewish community of Kazakhstan to foster family values and community building.
Each day of the camp was devoted to the words of the Torah. Teams played interactive games, made ark – raft of plastic bottles, got acquainted with Noah's life, wrote the script for the evening performance, worked in creative workshops, conducted a treasure hunt, collected puzzles, and played games.
The teams went on a trip on the boat to study the seven laws given by God to Noah.
The project was prepared and organized by a large team of 17 madrichims and supported by the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, the 'Mitsva' association and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
