Edgar M. Bronfman, president of the World Jewish Congress and chairman of the Hillel International Board of Governors, has visited Rutgers State University in New Jersey to meet with students and to discuss his personal journey through the worlds of business, philanthropy and international Jewish leadership. Bronfman said: "Developing the next generation of leaders is crucial to the viability and growth of the Jewish community. That's why I view campus visits as so important to my work with Hillel. The students today are smart and they are serious about developing meaningful Jewish lives. It's a pleasure to be with them." In his ten years as chairman of Hillel, Mr. Bronfman has visited over 100 campuses in North America, South America and Israel. Under Bronfman's leadership, Hillel has expanded in North America as well as internationally in places such as Moscow, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires.
