The American actor Jon Voight - the father of actress Angelina Jolie - has launched a blistering attack on President Barack Obama, accusing him of putting Israel in harm’s way and promoting anti-Semitism world-wide. In an open letter in the ‘Washington Post’, the 71-year-old, who is a staunch Republican supporter, wrote:
President Obama:
You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy – and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm's way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.
You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated.
You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.

What a pity that Jon voight is in the minority. The world has reached the start of the apocalypse when a president with the second name Hussein can be elected as the leader of the free world. G-d help us if we let democratic leaders like Obama lead us into the Abyss. We might never return. Well done Jon Voight although alas I think your efforts may be in vain.....
This John Void or Avoid looks like a delusional character, age certainly plays a role in all his hate speech. He has never succeeded in being more than an average actor. You could not be Brando, okay, this I can understand, but, remember, you could not be De Niro or Al Pacino either. You should not take revenge on the world for your own artistic failure and obscure name. You pretended to have the power in the movies, great, at the same time you never had it in real life, and now you're missing it in the old age. But, see, you just mistook the meaning of power - you are not powerful, you are only full of racism, old man full of hate, mediocre actor.
Hooray for you Jon!! I wish more Americans could see the dangers facing Israel, through your eyes, & Obama is one of them!!

I don't know that Pres. Obama has been quite as ill-willed as Mr. Voight says. However, the president suffers from naivete when it comes to understanding primitive, villanous people, and to thinking that they can be persuaded by reasonable, empathic means. It is taking him too long to defend Israel and Jews, and to demonstrate to the world what we would live like if Israels' enemies became more powerful with the attainment of nuclear weapons, and blackmailed us into submission with their power. Would men enjoy having no autonomy, no women until they get to heaven, no say over socioeconomic conditions. Would women enjoy cliterectomies because they were told it makes them clean? Would they want to be brainwashed into believing it was okay to be their husbands' chattels? Pres. Obama has to get more savvy. Immediately, he has to stop Irans' nuclear proliferation. Thank you, Mr. Voight for your honest , brave comments.

i may never watch a john voight movie again..... i think he has lost his mind. there are many guilty parties in all of this mess. to blame president obama as he does is ludicrous.

Shalom Jon, My heart resonate with joy for your reprimand to Mr. Obama. I never knew Israel, the chiefest of Nations, have a friend in you. G-D bless you and those you love. As for President Obama, i implore you to stand by Israel, for the life of your nation depends on it!
John Voight has courageously and correctly expressed his opinion about Obama's policies concerning Israel. I supported Obama enthusiastically but if he continues his present policies which are inducing anti-semitism, I will not vote for him again.

Jon Voight is simply crazy! His accusations parrot the Tea Party morons who, sad to say, are increasing in number in this country. Whatever few, small tidbits of "truth" there may be in his screed are overwhelmed by his way-over-the-top hate-rhetoric, and his factless accusations against Obama. It's the same STUPID kind of talk that I'm hearing all around me in Oklahoma, where a right-thinking person is all but shouted down by the Right-thinking neoconservatives who overpopulate this state!

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH JOHN VOIGHT. WE HAVE A MASTEROF DOUBLE TALK LIKE "AL KELLY" USED TO BE IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
