About the World Jewish Congress Foundation
The World Jewish Congress Foundation was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2005 to provide financial and other support to programs and projects that foster the unity of the Jewish people, strive for the fulfillment of the Jewish community’s aspirations, and ensure the continuity and development of the Jewish community’s spiritual, cultural, educational and social heritage.
This is accomplished by raising funds and making grants to support the charitable programs and projects of the World Jewish Congress, as well as other organizations and projects that share the charitable and educational missions of the Foundation.
You can help the Foundation by contributing to our direct mail campaigns, major donor fundraising initiatives or by making an estate contribution. Concurrent with its fundraising activities, the Foundation creates and disseminates information to members of the Jewish community in an effort to educate, and to secure respect and justice for Israel and Jewish people in communities large and small worldwide.
About Herbert Juli, our Executive Director
Herbert Juli has been at the helm of the Foundation since its inception. His responsibilities include overall management of the Foundation’s national direct mail program as well as major donor cultivation and solicitation. He brings more than thirty years of fundraising success to the Foundation.
Raised in New York City in a traditional Jewish home by parents who were holocaust survivors, Herb brings a life-long commitment to human rights and Judaism. By working for the Foundation, he believes that his career arc has brought him full circle to a profession dedicated to causes so close to home and heart. Indeed, he is personally aware of the World Jewish Congress’ seminal work in the field of holocaust reparation as his mother and father were recipients. He feels privileged to dedicate his talents to the WJC Foundation.
